the stage is awesome

 

playing some splatoon 2 before work while watching Smite all star weekend and listening to asap twelvyy album is a great start to the weekend.

 

the new stage is really cool and i love the splatfest music

 

I agree. I love how the map is divided into these mini sections. I often get these isolated 1v1 matches where me and the opponent is just taking advantage of that large space.

 

Gonna play a bunch of splatoon this weekend, didn't have much time during the week. Team ketchup for sure.

 

i wish there was a way to message those on your friends list. or at least through the app.

 

So far, I cannot win a game today. Like my teams all get destroyed. Super fun so far. :/

 

I think i'm like 10-4 so far for the fest. I'm stuck at work from 1pm-9:30pm today though, so I'll only get to play it for about 2 more hours tonight before it ends.

Shifty Station is great and I wish it would stay. I almost never see Team Mayos and its always Ketchup v ketchup which sucks because I love the two colors against each other.

I'm not playing right now but I remember it saying the Splatfest times on that sign where you chose your teams

 

I went to a losing streak yesterday, until I realized what the problem was - my teammates weren't really checking the map constantly and we were getting snuck on a lot, especially in the last minute of the game. So i made it a point to be that guy who checks and manages the entrance to our bases.

That meant I wasn't the top scorer for the games (second mostly) since I'm spending a lot of time in local territory but it did net us a lot of convincing wins.

Seriously a lot of people I play with don't check the goddamn map and focus on kills.

 

I definitely get the impression the majority of people playing go for kills.

 

I've seen people camping out for kills which really doesn't make sense for a game like this

 

I focus on coverage and not kills
