Let's make it really sad. Every day a song gets voted off, you have to remove it from your playlist, and only listen to the remaining songs until the game is over.

Hello all, I feel like I should listen to Manchester Orchestra cause this album looks like it'll end up on a lot of AOTY lists but I am really not a fan of indie rock. Should I still check it out or am I just going to hate it? Is this album a good starting point for someone who's never listened to this band?

I looked at your favorite albums and I like the majority of that stuff as well. So maybe that means you'll enjoy this album as much as I do. Who knows lol

I like a lot of music across genres and even just in terms of rock, it's pretty diverse. I'm into just about everything from The 1975 to Tool but some artists I thought I'd be into didn't click for me, like Frank Turner and The Menzingers. Idk if that helps, it's hard for me to pin down my tastes haha

I mean you have a Circa album as your avi so that's a good sign to me! I think I'll start with Cope like you suggested and then try the new one.

This is sick. You're sick. I'm sick for even entertaining your sickness with a response.

I swear if I didn't love Blue Sky Noise so much I'd never forgive you for this. But here we are.

I suggest Cope not because it's anybody's favorite, but it's high energy and easy to get into on the first listen. I think a Black Mile may take a few spins to click, and being unfamiliar with the band you might not be willing to make that sort of investment.

Only 49 days until new Circa!

Start with ILAV or METN. Simple Math or Cope would be a bad start.

  21. Just listen to the new one and then dive into the back catalog. It's fine.

When I'm listening to a band for the first time I kind of always enjoy starting at the beginning. I like to see how they evolve from album-to-album. I recognize that probably isn't the majority opinion on that though.

Fine then for every song voted off you can replace it with the corresponding track on BSN.
Your current playlist should look like this.

    2. The Gold
    3. The Moth
    4. Lead, SD
    5. The Alien

    8. The Wolf
    9. Spirit of the Stairwell
    10. The Longest Mile
