I was thinking the same thing about Pensacola

 

As others here have said, after seeing it live the album version doesn't do as much for me anymore. Still a great song, but the album version isn't necessarily one I would use to represent the band to a new listener.

What's not to love?

 

I gotta listen to this album in the mountains somewhere

I enjoy the song. I just wouldn't put it in my top 3, like most seem to be doing. I'd probably rank it like 8th, but I love everything on SM.

 

got that 9.64 vinyl. standard version, but for that price you can't pass it up.

EDIT: as of 8:03AM CST it is still up.

 

The way the tracks are divvied up between the 3 vinyl sides is perfect.

A: Maze, gold, moth, lead

B: Alien, sunshine, grocery

C: wolf, mistake, parts, silence

 

All That I Really Wanted is low key the catchiest MO song

 

VERY shocked to see which two songs almost got eliminated on this round. We are at 130 entries!

 

I will never pass up a $10 record.

Sunshine, Grocery, Wolf, Mistake make a great run of tracks. it's all so good though it's hard to single anything out.

people were talking about the high note in the grocery, but i think that final harmony that comes in at the end of this is even more impressive. love this song, and most of COPE honestly.

 

Honestly, I'd rather pay the $35 that goes directly to the band's merch store than some random seller on Amazon.

 

If it's not being shipped and sold by Amazon, I'd be weary of it regardless.

 

Everyone's mentioning billy joel, but the intro to Mistake reminds me of Sum 41 - All To Blame.

The first five seconds of The Mistake reminds me of the first five seconds of 21 guns by Green Day...before jumping into Movin Out.

 

A sweet 3 song section is Sum 41's A Dark Road Out of Hell (Holy Image of Lies, Sick of Everyone, and Happiness Machine). That album is so underrated imo.

 

The first few seconds of The Mistake remind of me System of a Down's Chop Suey.
