What shows do you have coming up? • Page 16

I'm 30 years old, I don't have kids, I don't go to school and I don't have a car payment. I don't make anywhere near close to the most money but I do okay with the 45 hours a week I work. I pay my bills: rent / utilities / storage, cell phone, insurance every month and I spend my money on what makes me happy. I only have one shot at life so I might as well catch as many shows as I can. I just never understood why people count / care how others spend their time and money. Especailly ones don't known you personally. But… I g2g, have to run this pack of Molly to these rich kids. Ttyl.

 

Good for you. I'm sure you make more than me and I still spend all my money on shows and music haha. Life is short, so live it how you want.

 

Life is short, go to the gig, buy the record, eat the meal! That's how I look at it. I don't have a fancy job or special job but I save and I spend the rest of whatever. I don't know. I feel stupid saying "I do okay". Like it makes me feel like ick, what a chode. Haha

I just listened to the new Waxahatchee album and surprisingly loved it but I won't be in town for this :(

 

Only Flow in Finland for me in store, cause I don't know really where I will be starting from September :(

 

I spend more than I'd like to admit on shows but the truth is they are worth every penny. At this point, I just consider them a necessary expense and work it into my personal budgeting.

Fuck I am so jealous of your October.

 

I make some pretty comical financial sacrifices for my ticket $. I eat VERY cheap with friggin instant oatmeal breakfast most of the time, lame ass sandwich for lunch, and dinner is a mix but it's usually just some grilled chicken and veggies. I very rarely update my wardrobe. I don't drink much (the amount of $ people spend on booze is fucking insane).

But it's worth itttttt

 

October is WILD, my birthday is the 6th too

 

Oh fun! Your birthday should be great then. You have 3 tours I'm dying to go to that aren't even coming near me :(

 

October's gonna be lit for me too! Hopefully I can make it to AWS, one of my favorites.
