Chris was real talented and helped Andy with RAGC and BB so its a shame if they had a falling out. like i know we all kinda know him as the dude who just goes wild live but he was an incredible keyboardist/percussionist/songwriter and im sad hes not on this album.

i guess MOs fortunate that Andy and Robert also happen to be very talented keyboardists and percussionists as well as fantastic songwriters.

He probably saw the direction they were going in and anticipated a drop in popularity. Which probably also pushed the band to make a better album haha who knows? Shame he isn't there anymore but this lineup did a damn good job

So my first 15 or so plays through this I didn't have gapless playback on so I didn't get the full The Sunshine > The Grocery experience haha.

I was thinking that because of the "my entire life you've been obsessing with the light" line. If you take it literally, it means they have known each other their whole life and and therefore couldn't be about a couple in a relationship.

Can you get anymore answers through your connection? Haha

Why don't you guys get together and draft a few questions you'd liked to see answers for and I'll see what I can do next month.

Don't want to overdue it with the questions! hah

Just realized the ending to Lead SD (the time has come to abide by your folly, it's so unusually bright for the scene) is pretty much the same melody as the ending to Please Move (I didn't know you wouldn't have the key to the end of it all).

I think one of the brothers moved and seperate themselves from the other. brother, which is why the alien doesn't take place in Lead

Have also realized, and I'm sure it has been pointed out already, but The Alien, more specifically the lines there that song title are being sung, is more of a taunt. Like the kid was taunted in school and called an alien, maybe had some sort of physical deformity.

@BoldTitan my only question is, is one of the brothers doing the shooting in the grocery?

Didn't his drunken father cut off his ears? Hence why he looks like an alien? That's just how I've interpreted it since someone posted that a while ago.and also two posts up because I'm slow.

I could see this album being turned into a film if we could ever get definitive answers about the story haha. Just the sketch of a plot we've been able to crowdsource thus far alone is super compelling to me.

Also I mean, come on, "A Black Mile to the Surface" is one of the best titles for anything I've seen in a long time. Would be a shame to not share it in other media.
