Joywave - Content (July 28, 2017) Album

3rd LP! You're forgetting about Swish!

 

I enjoyed the first one quite a bit.

 

Album is called Content and it's out 7/28

 

Cool, I like both songs.

 

Band is fairly underrated. Their debut was very energetic and hooky and based on these two songs, it's clear they have a knack for writing solid indie pop/rock/electro/whatever songs.

 

SO excited for this record! My boys reppin Rochester!

 

Joywave is so awesome. Every song I hear from them is a jam.

 

Nice House is my favorite song of theirs

 

Arcade fire really trumped their album title huh

 

Just got around to checking out these new songs and I'm really digging this. The verses in Doubt kind of sound like the verses to Genie In a Bottle to me, ha.

Holy shit at Let's Talk About Feelings

 

Videos are filled with charisma))

 

Playing this next, pretty excited to check it out.

 

This whole thing is great. Glad I mostly held off on the singles. They're one of the best in this scene for sure

 

God this album is bleak

 

Beginning of Content has SERIOUS Radiohead vibes

 

A lot of Radiohead influence on this record for sure!

 

More than that if you count their albums when they were known as The Hoodies.

 

The Hoodies were so good, but it's really incredible to see what they became. "A Year To The Day" was my jam when I was out playing in bands with The Hoodies

 

This album is very good. Never heard of The Hoodies. Maybe I should change that.
