easily my favorite song on the whole comp! i forgot that song. i looooooved it back when i first heard it, and this cover is definitely on point. totally does it justice plus some!

 

@Wall Of Arms @bradsonemanband I grew up with that show, and that song was always on any music player I had. I wanted to do it justice.

I love this! I had this song on my list of possible covers for this compilation, but I didn't feel like I'd do it justice. I think you totally did though. Such a fun song.

Dude! Solid cover, to say the least. I love this so much! I love how the intro is true to the original, but then it just busts in and slays

3. bradsonemanband - Somebody Kill Me (Adam Sandler, from The Wedding Singer)
I've always loved this song. I thought it'd be fun to make the chorus parts sound like a full band, so that's my twist on it. Pretty simple jam right here! 3 chords, haha.

I don't remember you actually calling out this song in the comments, so when I got it in my email, i was like "what's this one?" and then when I listened to it I got so excited! I love this song so much. Didn't even to my mind when I was brainstorming songs for this. Great job!

Definitely my favorite song on this whole thing. I was obsessed with this song when it first came out. Such a great jam! You totally nailed it.

I love this cover. Totally fits your style.

This is the first song on here that I'm not familiar with already. It's nice and chill though and I like that a lot. Great cover!

8. @Wall Of Arms - A Thousand Times (Hamilton Leithauser & Rostam, from 13 Reasons Why)
This is a beautiful little tune. Makes me want to check out the original! I think yours totally does a great job though and I'd listen to this again if I wanted to listen to something mellow. I like it a lot.

Holy shit, guys! Jake sounds JUST like LTJ's singer, and it's so cool hearing Things So Impossible on a full band fast punk rock song. Your voice is killer as usual! I love this cover.

11. @elemenohpe - Build Me Up Buttercup (The Foundations, from There's Something About Mary)
A really pretty cover of a classic! I was almost expecting it to bust into a super pop punk version, but was pleasantly surprised that it stayed chill. You rule.

Beautiful cover, man! This is soooo good!

I love the synth in this! Adds a really cool ambiance. I'm super into this.

It's so cool how you were able to squish these songs together in a cohesive way. I love how experimental and kinda dark this is.

16. Jdaniels - Everywhere You Look (from Full House)
A classic song, and you put your own twist on it! I love that. This song is just so good.

17. @TedSchmosby - Vindicated (Dashboard Confessional, from Spider-Man 2)
Hell yeah, Dashboard! I've always loved this song, even when my friends in high school told me that it was so dumb that DC "sold out" by putting this on a movie soundtrack... haha. Gotta love the early 2000s. Great cover dude!

18. @Damien Davies - Rainbow Connection (Kermit the Frog, from The Muppets)
Beautiful cover of a beautiful song! Did you hear that the dude who's been playing Kermit since Jim Henson died actually got fired recently!? What the hellllllll?!?! Listening to this cover kinda made me sad because I thought of that story. This one of the best songs ever.

I love this extended version of the song! I especially love the synth keyboard in it! Awesome cover, man.

I'm expecting LP to sweep this poll... but I went with TWY.

Hybrid Theory is one of the first albums I learned front to back on guitar (that and Papa Roach's 'Infest' and Slipknot's S/T) so I'd be cool with them winning... plus I'll get to rap (albeit angsty white boy rap... like I could rap any other way).

 

I was already planning on doing a cover of Pushing Me Away, so I'll be real sad if LP wins and someone claims it before I do
