I've always liked Goblin more than Bastard, I didn't realize that was an unpopular opinion

I think this is his best work though

    SFFB>Wolf>CB>G>B

  2. I think each of his albums has improved on the last, but I don't really go back to Bastard or Goblin and only pieces of Wolf hold up. I fuck with Cherry Bomb though

My rankings are the same as tdlyon. Tyler has always been someone I viewed as improving with each album as he tries something nearly each time except for the beginning. I don't really return to Goblin or Bastard anymore. Despite the problematic language used in the in them, I have fond memories associated during those years.

    He's on Colbert tonight, btw.

Agreed that he gets better with every release. I don't listen to his earlier work as much anymore, but I still get instantly hyped when he pulls out anything from Goblin at his shows

hard to pick a fav song rn but who dat boy pothole seeyou again are all up there

  8. I think Bastard is way better than Goblin and Wolf. I know the mixing on Cherry Bomb is intentional but it's the main reason I don't really like it.

I think Flower Boy is basically perfect and Bastard is the only other Tyler tape I'd call good. Goblin aged like milk.

Think Bastard is my favorite thing from him other than this. Bastard/Seven is one of my favorite openers and songs like Blow, Jack and the Beanstalk still hold up really well.

Like most of his albums there's stuff I really love and stuff I don't care for. I think I could make a 20-25 song playlist of songs I think are absolutely great.

However I'm so impressed with the length/quality of this one though. Changed my favorite songs already a bunch of times. I hate when people say "__________ made the album we were waiting for them to make," but my expectations of how well this thing would be put together are definitely exceeded.

The instrumentals in "who dat boy" boys my mind. Does Tyler create these himself?

He's produced the instrumental to every song on all of his albums with the exception of Transylvania on Goblin and Lone on Wolf
