I shared an album with a couple of friends. Didn't leak though. I think I got the advance about two months early then gave it to a couple of friends like a week out.

I have seen my future...

 

My biggest curiousity is how people are going to react to the alien- the sunshine- the grocery stretch.

I think it's a really cool 3 song arc with a great pay off at the end with the grocery but I wonder if people will be patient with that section or if they will find it "boring".

 

Can I just have this already?! If a FLAC leak pops up in the next 24 hours I'll have the perfect opportunity to listen to this with headphones tomorrow.

 

While I agree headphones are a great first listen. The record is really cool outside of headphones too, there's some natural reverb on the record that comes out really well and fills the room. @loudasallgetout

Cool! I know we joked about listening on the shitter but sometimes I actually do listen to stuff out loud in bathrooms. They are usually a pretty small rooms so it gets some cool sounds.

 

Given that "The Alien" is by far my favorite of the 3 songs released so far, I have a feeling this is going to be my favorite stretch of the album.

 

The grocery has a similar feel to the alien in the verses but it goes to some really different places, can't wait to discuss this stuff with people. Also andy hits a high c at the end of the grocery and it gives me chills every time.

 

It's embarrassing how many times I've been through the record. Def lost count and it's def well over 10 maybe closer to 20

 

How is this remotely embarrassing tho

 

it shows how little I get accomplished during the summers haha. I'm a teacher so in the summer I do little projects around the house and what not, but I also listen to an insane amount of music haha

They're playing a record store here in town on Friday for release day and I'm getting there like hella early. Gonna buy the vinyl and immediately spin it when I get home.

 

Not gonna lie, I had it delivered to my mom's 40 minutes away because I didn't want to risk the Florida heat or rain all day while I was at work. So when I make it out there I'll have it....I may wait until Friday with the Gold Bundle(which still says accepted with no delivery date) so I don't make two trips.

 

Not entirely sure, but that's where I got it from.

 

come on Loma Vista, what are you doing!!!!!!!! haha I really want a digital copy of the record so I can listen while doing yardwork ha. I may go grab a cd drive.. hmm maybe..

 

I would have been bugging every person I know with a PC haha.

 

I feel like everyone I know uses a MacBook Air hahha not really but I also don't like to bug people

 

Even regular MacBooks and such don't have disc drives these days.
