he has two interesting ones

one with his ex-wife (who is part of the band múm - get to that too) which is wonderful, but a lot of people were appalled because last min before releasing it he decided to release it literally backwards - and it sounds so alien but wonderful... you can also find it the "correct" way in youtube... so that's two records in one haha

and then he did this weird thing that sounds like Prince stuck in a swamp which is p awesome too

so yeah, try those

I'm all for weird shit but AnCo seem to suck when they go for really off the wall stuff

I guess you would have a ton of fun if you dropped acid at that tho

That^^ EP is out tomorrow but it's floating around already. I like it a lot off two listens. Feels a lot more like pre-Centipede stuff than anything they've done in the last few years.

Stephen Malkmus just got announced as the opener for the Portland show here in a couple weeks (presumably since he lives here). This is going to be the greatest show of my life.

 

A) I didn't know Avey Tare has a solo album out next month
B) it hath leaked onto the internet already
