Not be a Debbie downer, but their ridiculously phoned-in show in Niagara Falls back in May really soured my feelings towards these guys. Don't play the show if you're going to stumble around and inaudibly mumble into the mic cuz you wanna sound good at MSG the next day.

That show didn't change my perception of the band (I actually missed like 70% of the show), but I was a bit confused when I thought that I could barely hear Matt or something. I don't really fault them for it, since it was a pretty small venue and yeah, they were playing MSG the next day. I was just happy to see them in that small of a venue.

If anyone has spotify I highly suggest Molotov Cocktail Piano's version of She Lays Down. Sims level background music on piano. It's pretty awesome.

 

I can't speak for the Niagara Falls show, but the Rochester show was a significantly shorter set than the MSG show too. I'm assuming Niagara Falls was most likely the same.

And why wouldn't they? The last album cover was teased like 9 months in advance in a similar fashion.
