He sounded pretty bad there imo. Kinda sounded like how somebody who isn't a fan of them would mock sing it.

 

Pretty much how I feel he sounds any time they play "Chocolate" really. I just do not like the way it's sang at all.

 

He sounds like that for Chocolate, Girls and sometimes Sex.

I wonder if he's just sick of playing some of their early hits and that's his way of getting through it as quickly and with as minimal effort as possible.

I agree! I enjoy being flamboyant for fun without having a crisis of masculinity now. I wear floral shirts sometimes now and feel comfortable doing so.

 

was that the trnsmt festival performance that got taken down? i thought that was a really fun performance, even if matty wasnt at his best seeing the crowd going crazy in the rain made it really great. if thats not what that vid was then disregard

i will literally never get sick of hearing "a change of heart." i think its become my favorite. definitely on the same level as "paris" for me.

 

I could be grasping at straws here, but does anyone else get more a "rock" frontman vibe from Matty during this performance? I've seen them a few times and have watched more YouTube videos of them performing than what could be deemed normal, but I've never heard him call for a pit before. Ever.

I just think it's interesting with Drive Like I Do looming around. Perhaps the explanation is simpler...he had a little extra before he got on stage.

I've seen them twice in the past year but I'll always beat myself up about seeing them at Coachella 2014 but not paying much attention because I was just waiting for Lana Del Rey to go on.
