As much as I hate the site, /r/philadelphia has a lot of info

 

In case you were looking for stuff to watch on Netflix and this peaked your interest, do not watch Extraordinary: The Stan Romanek Story. For one, it's pretty damn bad and you'll regret the half hour you spent watching it. And also, he just got charged for having kiddie porn.

This is crazy. Haven't heard anything at all about it.

 

So he got out on bail earlier but is now back in jail and being charged with the theft of one of the missing kid's cars. And now his bail is $5m! wtf

 

Investigators know something, that's for sure. And I can't recall a time property has been dig up and sifters have been used so soon. These guys have been missing a week and the tools they're using are for when bodies have been buried for years. Disturbing.

 

I said almost the exact same thing. Judges don't just sign off on that shit easily and for them to be missing only a week..I feel they have to know almost exactly what happened. So freaky.

 

The DA is having a press conference at midnight to discuss a "major development"

And they create an update from time to time, you can actually send your story if you want. BTW, ghost month is fast approaching Chinese belief says that it brings bad luck. I have visited Singapore last year and have seen some soul treats in some big trees.

Human remains found from multiple people, Dean is confirmed dead

 

Damn. One identified but more remains found in a 12 foot deep hole.

 

Guessing all 4 of them are in that hole. So messed up.

 

Interesting how he said they "bought us some time" by charging him with the stolen car so he couldn't flee. That certainly sounds shady af especially after the gun charge brought up again from February.

Although if he did it then fuck him but after reading through all the conspiracy theories I feel a bit like this is like a Making a Murderer situation in a way

 

Can you link me to the best rundown of those theories? Can only find generic facts of the case.

 

I'll have to look tomorrow morning. I got lost in a maze of links off of the r/Philadelphia link someone posted in here earlier today. Before I knew it I had 15 windows open haha.

Some off hand that I remember:

• Cosmo owed money and these kids winessed a crime committed by the person Cosmo owed money to so Cosmo killed them to clear his debt with the guy who wouldn't have witnesses against him

• Cosmo was part of a cult with his parents and this was an initiation and / or to protect the cult and one of the kids' parents wanted out

• Cosmo suffered a serious head injury after an ATV accident and soon became hospitalized for mental disturbances because of the accident

• Allegedly the kids were on the property to steal and / or get evidence of stuff being done on the property, Cosmo caught them and killed them in a panic to keep other secrets hidden

Shit, I don't have the time rn to get on reddit but I want to keep up with the Philadelphia story. What's happening now? They found human remains?

 

The DA announced late last night that they found human remains (thanks to the help of cadaver dogs) of multiple people in a 12 and a half foot hole. They identified one of the remains as one of the missing men (Dean). I believe Cosmo (the person of interest) and his parents were all subpoenaed for grand jury today. And Cosmo is currently being held on $5m cash bail.

 

Cosmo confesses about murdering all 4 guys in exchange to not receive the death penalty.
