Hartford was great! Shoutout to @thisisnotbrianm for making my first time at the venue a smooth experience. Was awesome to meet up and chat for a bit.

This was my 6th venue I've seen Warped at and one of the better ones. It may have been because attendance was a little lower (even though the crowds didn't show it) but there was plenty of space to walk around and catch your breath. Biggest downer was having a main stage in the amphitheater but none of the bands I cared about were on that stage anyways.

All in all, I caught 16 bands, was able to do 2 signings (Trophy Eyes and Boston Manor), catch an impromptu acoustic performance by Trophy Eyes and have almost 2 full hours of breaks. Biggest let down was missing Beartooth, I was wearing their shirt for god's sake, but since I've seen them 7 times and never seen Boston Manor it was a no brainer. Not being able to catch all of DGD sucked too.

I'm kind of wondering if they are alternating each date the mainstage in the amphitheater.

 

I don't think they will put a main stage in thhe ampitheater at holmdel since there's no pit.

 

They better not do that in Mansfield. Its hard enough having two smaller stages in the ampitheater but making it a main stage would suck. Almost broke my neck trying to get out of that pit a few years back

I was just about to say it looks like thunderstorms. I feel like this happens in Mansfield every year I go to some extent

 

Just so you know they have free slurpees here. I've already had two and it almost makes up for VA always having terrible crowds.

 

They've had both main stages in both ampitheatres every year I've gone except the last two at the Cincinnati date. Now y'all know my pain

 

Fuck. I went back for a third and they were packing up. I blew it.

 

It's that time of the year where I make mock up schedules for the day to get ready for Thursday. The conflicts are just pure evil this year, thank jesus I'm going to 2 dates again this year.

He just sounds horrible.

 

As much as I dislike Andy/BVB's music, he's one of the few major "scene" artists who doesn't seem like a negative influence on his fans. I've always thought BVB were mature about the way they speak to their fans.

 

Is the Massachusetts canned food to get in early worth it? Because I've heard of dates where people get in late because of it

 

Totally worth it. They do separate the lines there and let the early entry in first, and the line gets REALLY long in MA.

Weather is looking solid for my date. Honestly I don't think since 2009 (my first year) it's rained for Cleveland Warped Tour. I know 2008 had a terrible storm
