It hasn't started yet. But if you download the thing you can play a tutorial, with motion only though.

im between getting disgaea 5 now or waiting a bit and getting splatoon 2, both look pretty cool but disgaea 5 has so much going on that im not sure if i have the patience to weather the learning curve, on the other hand ive never been too big on team shooters but splatoon 2 makes it look very enticing and approachable

 

reading the Disgaea 5 wiki right now and I'm unsure if it's intentionally funny but

Picked up a mario, luigi, yoshi and shulk amiibo here in dotonbori for a cheap price.

Also this came in, i was going to put them at the back of my switch but now Im struggling to figure out which ones.

 

Bought a pro controller, Callie and marie amiibo, Wolf Link amiibo, hori swith case for dock.

WWE 2K18 on Switch confirmed. This tickles all of my fancies. Also this is a big deal because this is the first year they are ditching the PS3/360 versions, which would indicate feature parity with the PS4/XBONE versions. This could set a precedent going forward for 2K games in general.

 

My gut feeling is that it'll be a bad port and likely the first and last appearance on the Switch lmao

 

Generally speaking, it shouldn't be. Wrestling games have a very small actual area of play, and 90% of the rendering is in the models themselves. It's virtually 40 feet by 40 feet of play area. The Wii versions of the PS3/Xbox 360 games played very well, just with lower poly models and faces and some reduced story modes. I'm hopeful.

I love the mechanics of the 2K series for the most part but yeah. Fire Pro hits early access today, I'm lurking reddit trying to see what it plays like on min requirements.

 

Mostly kidding and honestly I'll probably pick up the Switch 2K18 port if it ends up performing well/with feature parity but Fire Pro is where it's at. Bring me back to the days of playing Fire Pro on GBA while watching wrestling on TV. I'll still grab it tonight on Steam and hope it runs well (and on PS4, when that's out) but I want it portable.
