That's how I felt when I first started but trust me it'll get easier

 

oh no doubt but it felt funny to do 100 turns and literally only fight barbarians.

 

TBH that's how the game plays normally while you explore and improve your city/cities. Pretty good way of levelling your infantry up at the start too

 

I'm just trying to fight everyone and take over the world.

 

That comes at like turn 200, i mean like to have a real good chance of beating them you need to be ahead of the game. Not always but it's a bonus

You can fight them early, I like to build relationships up with other city-states and countries so they're pretty screwed if they try going anywhere else

Just beat Cortex in Crash 2. Forgot they introduced the Jetpack in the final stage. I am not looking forward to getting relics for those levels. Also forgot you get a speed boost after beating Cortex. That will definitely help relic times.

The sewer levels on Crash 2 are a goddamn annoyance.

 

I am amazing at those jetpack levels. Like a pro.

Working my way through Crash and 95% is the sort of fun, pure platforming that I love and miss from the N64/PS1 era. The other 5% are the bridge levels which were very bad. Only a few levels left in 1 from the looks of the map, I'll probably go back and get the gems but not bother with time trials.

 

The bridge levels are fun to try and time trial. Frustrating but fun.

 

All that's left for me in Crash 1 is beating Neo. Damnit work.

 

Dead Rising 4 is so much fun, nearing the end and I have had an absolute blast. No real major issues, to be honest. I truly think the Dead Rising series has remained consistently fun throughout its run.

Think I'll load up Witcher 3 after, although that game scares the shit out of me. Maybe I'll do a smaller linear game first...like Shadow Warrior or Batman.

Also, I currently have 800GS in Fallout Shelter. Super proud of that given the completion % on True Achievements.

Actually, I may start up Black Flag, since I decided recently to skip passed the old games and just go from there forward...hm hm

 

After giving Friday The 13th a break, i'm back to inching my way close to 100% completion of DOOM. Still my favorite FPS that i've bought the past few years.

 

I created my Inkling for Splatoon 2 for the Splatfest. As soon as I got past the tutorial, I immediately disabled motion controls :x Team Cake!

 

Has anyone played this?
The reason I ask is that the reviews are all over the place.
It's a new studio that has a pretty good resume with developers from Bioshock and Dead Space.

 

I've been looking at that and Get Even but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. Prey has me covered on horror for the moment. Giant Bomb's quick look made it look like it could be good.

 

Get Even is another one that has really mixed reviews but looks good.
