Damn I'm bummed now, nice to see they remain friends though. Hope that at least lasts.

 

Welp this album and recent interviews makes a whole lot more sense now.

 

I'm always happy to see couples split on good terms. They both deserve it.

 

I love this album so much.. god what a record

 

I've listened to it at least 5 times in the past 12 hours. Honestly, I don't know how another record is going to top this one for me this year. It hit me right at the perfect time.

 

anyone heard of this band ? when i heard a preview on Spotify, it took me a while to realize it wasn't Paramore (2005-2009 era). it's insane how much the singer sounds like Hayley

 

Out on cassette 8/15. Vinyl thereabout? Still hoping for sooner, makes sense at three months from release, roughly vinyl manufacturing lead times these days.

If you watch one of their studio sessions she looks like a French Hayley Williams (yet sounds like Julien Baker). I feel like we've stumbled upon an alternate timeline.

Also, on the topic of physical media for After Laughter, I need vinyl dammit!

they played "26" tonight in sweden :') really hoping that makes it to the tour two setlist, along with "i caught myself."

After Laughter by Paramore

 

Scrolled through that page for a little, and then got angry at The NY Times and realized that I don't tolerate any criticisms of this album. I believe I am in the right on that.

 

Talking about the Paramore wannabees. There was a russian band called Everline that totally ripped-off Paramore's Riot-Brand New Eyes era stuff with a little more post-hardcore feel (but the girl's voice is not as good as Hayley's). They released one album and then broke up. I saw them live once, they were so-so.

didn't say it in the fb thing but the chorus of pool is my least favorite part of the song, love the rest

love the weird guitar, love the verses, love the bridge, but the chorus feels a little out of place

 

i almost made other a fourth option but for me it comes down to those three. told you so would be my fourth probably
