Didn't grab me as immediately as their first. Will have to give it a few more spins before I know how I feel completely. It's good, but nothing was "holy shit" amazing. Felt restrained and a little too calculated without the payoff of a hook.

I'm more instantly into this than I was with Days Are Gone. The middle third is crazy good.

I'm sure I'll be more into this with every listen, and as I familiarize the nuances.

This caught me off guard in a big way, outstanding record. Between Lorde and this, pop music is in great hands.

Few albums recently have grabbed me immediately, and the ones that have have ended up being some of my favorites, I don't see this being any different

Yeah on first listen this is great, proper loving it and perfect for the summer. That Walking Away, Right Now one two is so good.

The majority of the songs on this album sound like uplifting Disney insert songs. The kind that play during a moment of inspiration, triumph or determination.

I'm not complaining though. Great way to start a Friday!

I wish some of these songs were longer.

That is a statement I have never made until today.

    what a waste of wood

Have never listened to this band but I'm enjoying this a fair amount.

    Getting some big Fleetwood vibes

I've decided Fleetwood Mac : Haim is the new Bruce Springsteen : Gaslight Anthem.

    For those wondering...

Ariel Rechtshaid produced every song on the album
Rostam co-produced Little of Your Love, Kept Me Crying and Found It In Silence
    BloodPop co-produced Want You Back
Twin Shadow co-produced Ready For You

I love the very Fleetwood Mac inspired songs.

Guess I shouldn't be surprised I enjoy the Rostam songs the most.

They absolutely crush the bridge/outros on some of these songs. The last minute or so of Ready For You and Something To Tell You are so great.

This is fine but isn't blowing me away on first listen. Whereas the debut was basically an instant classic pop album, these songs don't feel as strong and I'm not sure the record flows super well. Seems like it may be a grower though.

I like this, especially the first three tracks, but feel like it suffers from "just repeat the chorus again" syndrome.

Was just jumping in here to say that. It suffers from the dreaded "let's just repeat the song title/chorus" over and over again...

The chorus repetition is an issue. They use the same trick on almosy every song ; keep repeating the chorus but mess around with the arrangement / effects a bit til it fades out.

Doesn't really bother me too much here, I guess there's so much else going on that it's nice to have that repetition to come back to

Enjoy this. Bit more of the same but it's catchy

This is decent but not the step forward I was hoping for. Definitely agree on the repetition of choruses complaint.
