Jumpship is essentially one of the cofounders of Playdead (Limbo & Inside). Trailer doesn't show much but I am really excited.

 

What do you guys think of Fortnite?

 

Been playing Diablo III past couple of days with the gf and the game is so freakin addicting, almost made us forget that it's half 11 and I had to work in the morning haha

I think it's a really cool concept that combines a ton of different game styles into one.

 

Yeah I'm interested in it. I might get it after I see some reviews of it.

 

My Switch bundle (said it wouldn't ship til at least 7/7, GS gave me estimated delivery of 7/17???) randomly shipped yesterday and is arriving TODAY so I am over the moon with excitement. Glad to finally pick up BotW and see what all the hype is about.

Otherwise, I have had such significant issues concentrating on one game at a time this summer. Maybe because I have such little time to play and my brain is always looking for a different experience? As of now, the games that I have recently started or recently continued/have been playing casually are - Persona 5, Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, The House in Fata Morgana, Xenoblade Chronicles, Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest, Etrian Odyssey IV, Pokémon Moon, DOOM, Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, Final Fantasy XIV, Black Desert Online, and Overwatch. All for little snippets here and there. I can't focus because everything is so good!!

 

I'm still trying to figure out whether or not I enjoy BotW. Currently too obsessed with Persona, currently too obsessed with FFXIV, still thinking about how much I love NieR Automata every day.

 

NieR: Automata pretty much ruined gaming in 2017 for me. Stole all my time from the games you're mentioning (save for BotW) and took my emotions with it. Damn androids.

 

this ratchet and clank speed run during SGDQ was super fun. I recommend everyone check it out and I'll probably post the VOD.

so i was listening to the giant bomb podcast and they were talking about how sony removed a game that apparently let you get a platinum trophy in like 20 minutes, why is that an issue? do you get anything from platinum trophies aside from bragging rights?

There are a few games like that. Avatar on the 360 you can 100% in roughly the first 10 minutes of the game. In regards to that game, I thought there was a licensing issue or something like that.

 

This is pretty cool.

 

I just played Civilization 5 with my friend for two hours and I learned nothing in those two hours.

I suck.

 

Am I alone in thinking Until Dawn has the absolute goddamn worst, most excruciatingly slow pacing in the entire history of entertainment? Playing that game for 30 minutes slowed my motor skills down so severely it took me 4 hours to write this post.

 

@oldjersey and I gave that one our best effort today before deciding it'd be easier to just jump off a cliff in real life.
