If there weren't exclusives there'd be next to no reason to console game for me.

 

I gave my cousins both Xbox one controllers and I sat them in my room and I made them play the Lego Star Wars series.

I'm so happy I did that because they didn't annoy me for like two hours. I love the Lego games.

The one this week is "okay" but I would say maybe Watch Dogs 2 or Uncanny Valley. From the Ultimate Games Sale...oh boy, there is a lot to choose from! It depends on what you play I guess.

I'm considering Dishonored, Dark Souls 2, Prey, and The Witness.

 

I would love to see some data on how much exclusives actually help in selling units of Xbox and Play Station. They certainly mostly (some exceptions of course) are far from being the best selling games on their platforms. They are obviously the overwhelming reason people buy Nintendo consoles, you can see that in the attach rates of Nintendo games compared to third party games ever since the GCN, but Nintendo is a very different story.

 

Metro Redux is dirt cheap and worth your time if you've never played.

 

finished Life Is Strange a couple nights ago and that ending had me so fucked up. what a beautiful game.

also, I wasn't really planning on playing it but my brother lent me GTA V so I think I might give that a go next.

 

Guys What Remains of Edith Finch is so good.

 

There is this backlash against GTAV and I assume it is because it is so mainstream but it's really very good. Play it in first person, it's amazing, but tweak some of the controls because the default is weird. There are a a lot of good suggestions in that regard on the internet.

 

Love GTA V

 

People don't like Grand Theft Auto V? I still prefer IV because New York is more interesting than Los Angeles, but it is still a great game.

 

I have never heard that there is a backlash for GTA V but I am sure it exists in some dark corner of the internet. I think the people that play it, have nothing but love for it and its really impressive that they still continue to support it this far out, even with the announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2.

 

Love GTA V. Only below Vice City as my favorite if the series.

 

I love GTA3, but that and Vice City were the only ones I played so it's been a long time. GTA in first person sounds so weird though haha. I'll play around with the controls once I start it up.

 

For people who have Elder Scrolls Online (PC), what it is up with the download size? One of my drives failed so I'm down to one, so I cleared enough space for the download size of the game according to steam plus ~30 gigs. Once I downloaded everything (around 70 GB), to install it said I needed like 65 GB more space to install? Is the game really upwards of 130 GB?

 

I'm only partway through episode 3 but Life is Strange isn't doing much for me yet

 

I've been wanting to re-play GTA V because my brother got the updated version but like always, backlog.

also my cousins have been trying to get me into dungeon defenders 2 and I'm like noooooo. I can't get super into it again like I did the first.

 

GTA V is a ton of fun still, first player adds even more to the fun factor as well. GTA IV I couldn't get into really, it just felt so meh imo. Content wise it felt like a step back from San Andreas, the story is solid and the gameplay holds up for the most part but I wasn't a big fan of the presentation of the game. In the end it just felt so bland, looked dreary (which I guess is what they were going for) and made it feel boring to me.

 

I remember the hype right after it came out and how some dataminers found references to Las Venturas and everyone went crazy over potential LV DLC.

 

There's a backlash against GTA V because of GTA Online and the children who play it.
