Fwiw Steve Hayden tweeted that Guilty Party is great and it's not even a top 5 track on the record.

Lit Up, City Middle, Graceless, Mistaken For Strangers, Slow Show, Guest Room, the entire backhalf of High Violet, Pink Rabbits, Dont Swallow The Cap, I Should Live In Salt, all could potentially be my favorite National song at any given moment

 

Still can't believe this isn't coming out until September

 

It's sad that I am more excited for this than my actual birthday that is also in September.

I love finding textures in their songs that I've never noticed before. I love Boxer so much, I really need to spend more time with their other albums. I haven't gone past Boxer

 

Listen to High Violet tonight and then Trouble Will Find Me tomorrow, quote me when you've listened to both. You're in for a ride my friend.

 

High Violet is one of those records I kicked myself for not listening to it sooner.
