It's not necessarily a bad look for the tour. These were two smaller markets that they were trying out for the first time.

Pretty bad storms hit Atlanta today and they had to adjust set times because of it. I hope it doesn't happen to us in Orlando again tomorrow. Kinda sucks missing bands you really wanted to see.

"To all our fans - it is never easy to do this, but due to circumstances beyond our control we have been forced to cancel the 7.04 Wilmington, NC show.

From the Vans Warped Tour team, the bands, and all of our sponsors, we are truly sorry that this had to happen. We were working with HUKA Entertainment as our partner and the officials of the city of Wilmington, NC decided to not enter into a contractual agreement with Huka Production, LLC of North Carolina to ensure that the show would play out. This decision was based on a few concerns that included the venue’s ability to meet the logistical challenge of our tour, as nothing of that large of a scale has been done at the sports complex before.

“It is unfortunate we are unable to hold the Warped Tour at Legion Stadium as we had worked for months to try and make it happen. However, events held at city facilities must be hosted by groups with the ability to provide safety for concert goers as well as financial viability for ticket buyers. Today's schedule looks like it would've been pretty good for me. The 5 minute overlap between Silverstein/Dance Gavin Dance would have killed me but a small price to pay for nearly no other overlaps between major bands (Although blessthefall, Too Close To Touch, and maybe Beartooth and Creeper are the only other bands I really really wanna see)

 

So I made a list of every band I'm at least sort of interested in seeing, and who here has seen Blessthefall or Emmure? Can anyone speak to or against seeing them?

 

Blessthefall is okay, never seen Emmure, never really got in to them but their new album was actually not that bad

 

Blessthefall usually has a great crowd response for their songs. They are probably a slightly above average live band but not mind blowing. This is coming from someone who has seen them with Craig and with Beau for a total of nine times in the past 8 years.

 

What're the crowds looking like this year? 10K a show?

 

City of Wilmington cancels 2017 Vans Warped Tour - WWAY TV3

 

I'm a casual BTF fan, but they bring it live. Defnitely see them if you can.

 

Ugh! So annoying. Last year they were hassling us as soon as we got out of the car and my dad (who has attended all 12 years with me) had to speak up and say "We've been dealing with you guys for 10 fucking years!" and they got away pretty quick haha

 

Can confirm with Penguin, BTF fuckin brings it live. Their mosh pit in 2015 was one of the craziest I've ever been in. If you can you should see them.
Emmure....not so much.

 

Blessthefall is ok. Vocals aren't great, instrumental they are good. They are a fun band to watch live and the crowd is always into their set. They are a band I plan on catching if no one is a must see playing at the same time.

 

So this guy posted a LOT of videos from the Atlanta date, so we have a piece of a Beartooth setlist now, at least.

Just add Hated at the end and it's the exact setlist as their Australian tour.

 

For those that have already attended, any must-see, under the radar bands this year?

 

To join the BTF conversation, I'd say they are VERY missable. I've seen them a handful of times and they have never really done anything for me. If I have nothing else going on I'll go watch them but they are definitely a low priority.

 

Knocked Loose played Air Bud behind them on a projector during their Las Vegas set.

 

Some dates are offering four tickets for $99 plus fees through Live Nation

 

Maybe because this is the first time the NJ date is on a Saturday but has doors always been at 1230pm for Saturday tour dates? NJ was always on a Sunday and doors were at 11.

 

Does holmdel start at 11 or 12:30? Says 11 on the ticketing site but 12:30 on the Warped site.

 

I'm not sure how under the radar they are, but I'd try and catch creeper, the gospel youth, movements, and boston manor. also the white noise was highly entertaining.

 

Saw that too. I'd trust the Warped site but for everyone that went already, was the door time listed on the Warped website correct?

 

Which dates are those?

 

Just realized I posted that Beartooth set in here and not the setlist thread. Oops.

EDIT: Looks like Bad Cop/Bad Cop played by the pool in Vegas like Knuckle Puck did last year!

 

Anyone know the correct door time for the Massachusetts date with early entry?
