For everyone here that's bummed about how bad the pit report videos are this year, instead just follow Alternative Press' IG and SC stories. Kay, their social media rep, has done an awesome job cataloging the tour so far.

Same with me. After the announcement the only bands I really liked (Hawthorne Heights, Silverstein, Neck Deep, Big D, Courage My Love, Anti-Flag, Hands Like Houses and The Ataris) I had already seen, though The Ataris and Hands Like Houses I had only seen once. But I started listening to other bands and a part from my favourites of that previous grouping I'm likely going to prioritize other bands I hadn't really listened much to beforehand, if at all, like Boston Manor, The Gospel Youth, Our Last Night, I, Prevail, etc.

Somehow I've never seen Anti-Flag. Pretty happy to finally get that off the list this summer.

When I saw the line up I knew Silverstein, Dance Gavin Dance, Boston Manor, Neck Deep, Creeper, Trophy Eyes, Too Close To Touch, I Prevail, blessthefall and Beartooth, and of those 10 I only really listened to 6 extensively, but the lineup really got me listening to some of those bands more and now there are roughly 17 I'm excited about

Knocked Loose has gone from being my #8 band to see to my #2 in a matter of a week. I love their record, and their sets so far on the tour have been awesome.

I thought I was the odd man out that was actually excited for a good chunk of the bands on this tour. I'm excited for at least 16 bands on the lineup this year.

I'm happy this year was more relaxed. Last year I saw 14 bands who were all must sees and I got lucky. The year before I had a ton of schedule conflicts. Having only a few must sees was nice and I wasn't even disappointed that 2 of my top 5 conflicted (Silverstein, Hawthorne Heights). It was a lot less stressful and I saw quite a few bands I wouldn't have seen outside of Warped (Being As An Ocean, Strung Out, GWAR, I Prevail). I'm expecting the lineup to be much more stacked next year, but who knows.

Yeah, I bet next year's going back to pop-rock and pop-punk. Stuff like Mayday Parade, The Maine, State Champs, Knuckle Puck, etc, are going to all over the Main Stage.

Seems like Warped would want to break out of this cycle a bit, try to have more balanced years instead of alternating between pop punk and hardcore

I'm hoping that's the case, but I feel like with the cycle they've done this decade, I think it'll be more of the same. I think the 12/14/16/18 cycle's going to be pop-focused, 13/15/17/19 will be heavier/punk.

I see advantages and disadvantages to both. If you do a mix you get a diverse crowd. If you switch off doing pop punk even year and metal/hardcore odd year, you get massive lineups in both genres that will draw those people in which will earn a lot of cash. On the flip side of that you have disappointed pop punk fans on the odd year and disappointed metal/hardcore fand on the even year.

2014 was a great year in terms of having a balanced lineup. You had a nice mix of both new and older Pop Punk bands (State Champs, Saves The Day, Yellowcard, Bowling For Soup, Real Friends, Mayday Parade) and quality heavy bands (Terror, Every Time I Die, Parkway Drive, The Devil Wears Prada, Born Of Osiris, The Ghost Inside.)

I don't think The Ghost Inside will ever come back

I'm probably weird, cause there are a lot of bands I wanna see, but as long as I get to see my top 2 or 3 bands full sets I'm not really stressed about other conflicts.

They'll be back. Maybe not anytime soon but they'll definitely be back. Those guys are the hardest working bunch I've ever seen. I can't see them letting the crash bury them.

My guess is they'll play in 2019 or 2020, but that's just a guess. I'm not really sure how far they are in their recovery.

Yeah, I honestly see the main stage being almost the same as last year. Replace Yellowcard with Taking Back Sunday and add Moose Blood/Knucklepuck. It's pretty predictable.

I actually put together a partial lineup prediction for next summer already haha. It's hard to look into the future of albums, breakups/hiatuses, and whatnot so this will likely change a ton. This is also assuming this year's stage format remains intact. But with the recent speculation of next year's lineup being more Pop Punk heavy, I had to make one.

I get the feeling that the old school stages will be no more again (going off of how I've heard/seen how they've been doing) and returning how it was in 2016. Also is Cannibal Corpse there as what Gwar was this year? Honestly I'd love to have a band like Gwar, CC, etc. be on as the closer of one of the Monster stages.

avatar would be a cool act that doesn't really seem to fit on the tour, they could totally be received well on warped

I like where this is heading but Saves the Day, Pennywise, MiW and Killswitch would definitely be main stage. AAF would be perfect for the Hard Rock stage.

To be fair the same could be said for Blessthefall and Silverstein. And maybe Gwar and Hatebreed to an extent.

Saves the Day, Pennywise, and Motionless in White all played side stages the most recent years they've played.

Seeing Saves The Day at Arizona Warped in 2014 was the best. They played first and Kevin gave them a little extra time so they could play Can't Slow Down in full

Wow, I think it's a reasonably possible list... but damn, if next year is like this it will be a BIG step down for me, even compared to this year (which while I'm excited, hasn't got me as amped as any of the previous 4 years or so).

    Still,

    FIR
    WSS
    Suicide Silence
    The Casualties
    Pennywise
    Teenage Bottlerocket
    Unwritten Law
    Killswitch Engage

those would still be worth the ticket for me - but not as exciting as years past and probably just under this year excitement wise.
