Reminder: Dwight played 16 total 4th quarter minutes across 6 playoff games. He's not good. Hawks were so much better with him on the bench.

The Plumlee contract is bad, but Atlanta frees up ~$5 million this season and ~$11 million next. Hell yeah I'll take that.

 

I guess I just think Brooklyn is too far gone. They are Eastern Sacramento. They had one asset and that was Lopez.

 

Is Dwight Howard the biggest waste of talent the NBA has ever seen? Imagine if that dude had the mindset of a Kobe or a KG or a Jordan? He'd be unstoppable.

 

Christ, he's not a bust here people. He's an eight time all star, three time defensive player of the year and took a team to the finals. Sure, he's declined pretty hard and fast, but it could be argued that has as much to do with the changes in the game as his attitudes and behavior.

 

I'm just glad there's no longer a Plumlee on this roster.

 

To me, talent = athleticism + skill. Dwight has only ever had athleticism. As he's gotten older w/ injuries mounting, we've seen a sharp decline. He never developed a good post game, improve his free throws, or improve his attitude/leadership.

 

Since Pek is waived do we get out of the last two years of his contract? I know there is some injury clause where if he doesn't play for a full calendar year his contract is off the books no penalties, if so. That frees up A LOT of money.

 

My greatest hope this offseason is that the Bucks can ship off dead weight like Henson Teletovic and or Dellevedova - those three combined make nearly $35 mil of our roster ugh

 

I did NOT see that trade coming. We got rid of Plumlee though. I'll take it.

I'm cool with this - I think he was really great for the Bucks last season

 

The Bucks have four centers now - Maker, Monroe, Henson, and Hawes assuming he opts in

Hopefully we can move Henson this summer

 

I think maker might be a power forward, at least for now.

Also hawes can get fked

 

My understanding is that he will still get his guaranteed money from the team, but it will not count against the salary cap. So essentially adding 12 mil in cap space each year left on his contract.

It's been a while since I looked into it, so that may not be 100 percent accurate, but I think that's the general idea.

 

He slots into the center position - Brogdon is 1 Middleton 2 Snell 3 Giannis 4 Thon 5

 

Rockets are apparently shopping Pat Beverley :(

 

NBA offseason is the best, except for when you're a Nuggets fan

 

Mavericks offseason is basically like the Green Bay Packers offseason
