I'm wondering if they'll lock phones up? I saw Chris Rock a few months ago and everyone had to lock their phone up. It's not as crazy as it sounds. They passed out pouches while people were waiting in line to get in and you put your phone in your pouch and then when you leave, they just unlock it with a magnet so it's just a simple swipe and doesn't take a long time to get out.

 

I hope Seether covers The Gold just so we can see Mike J lose his mind

 

Thought I remember seeing photos of the Halsey listening party and everyone was given their own set of headphones, thus making it all but impossible to record. Although seeing as though this is being hosted by Sonos it's an unlikely setup

 

God I hope so, I'm telling you I'll wait all day to get into the event early. And within the first song take my phone out without thinking and be kicked out. Haha

I'm a bit concerned with how easy it has been to not listen to The Gold again....

 

How many times did you listen to it?

 

I think it's way more interesting than Tony the Tiger ( a song I like) the way the chorus pulls back, the vocal harmonies, the lead guitars, the dynamics, the drums are more interesting. Fantastic song

 

I never got the hate for Tony.

 

I think it's just less powerful than a lot of the stuff on that record. The vocals sort of stay low the entire time and the groove is really similar throughout. It works well in the record though

 

Just 3 or 4. And not since the day after it was released.

I have a feeling that this is going to be an album that demands to be listened to in full, I think the song is fantastic but it's clear that it's part of a whole, I want the whole haha! Glad I can hear it next week, worried that I'm going to love it so much that it's going to make waiting another month to hear it again harder. Probably will hold off on listening to anything else until I hear the whole record

 

I've legitimately listened to "The Gold" about 50 times in the past few days, I love it.

yes they have, at least it seems like some of them have. The life insurance one seems to be gone and replaced

So weird. they changed mid call for me. half of them were still old and now they are mostly all new minus a few.

Check that. They play two things now. You have to press a different button then press the old one again.
