And then u wake up today thinking "how much more insane could it possibly have been really" and you see fucking acoustic Dark Star?????????????? And then Ripple???? In the FIRST SET???

Out of 2xFenway, SPAC, and 2xCiti, I'm only seeing night one at Citi but I'm sure I'll be blown away

Very true. Pearl Jam's sets there are always their best

 

I went to Fenway night 1 and watched night 2 on couch tour. So good. Loooved the Dark Star action from Sunday, so awesome. I hope we get a tour every summer!

 

Jiffy Lube was a ton o fun. Althea, Fire on the Mountain, and a Dylan cover were all I needed to walk away happy.

 

CitiField tonight, woot. Headed to Shakedown right meow.

 

Im not planning on being there until about doors. Super excited though

 

What time have they been going on?

 

Iunno, apparently it was real early at Fenway, like 630. My ticket says doors at 6 show at 730

 

My wook estimate for music starting: 7:55

 

They've been starting pretty much on time I think at least in previous tours

 

Pains me to say this but I thought that CitiField show was terrible. Absolutely zero cohesion between the band and zero flow in that second set.

 

There were definitely some uh...stumbles...but that's a little harsh. Still had a hell of a time

 

Yeah, probably a little harsh. I of course had a great time. In terms of bands playing the Dead's music, and I know no one from GD is in the band, JRAD are just in another universe of excellence in my opinion.

 

Still have to see JRAD, heard nothing but great things. Saw him with Furthur a few times but didn't know he was someone I should've been paying special attention to at the time haha

 

What were the stumbles?

 

Some mix of Bobby forgetting words and the band just not being together, mostly to start songs. Estimated, Eyes, and Other One all had similar problems where Bob would sing the first line and then have to repeat 4 bars of vamp to get the band together.

 

Damn that's too bad. How was the crowd? I was watching a video last night of them doing Sugaree somewhere and people were talking and being annoying all the way through it and that seemed super shitty

 

Crowd was fine where I was, but that was in the stands. I don't go on the floor for these shows lol. Some talking but a reasonable amount. I've heard that complaint a lot honestly but never experienced it, must be a floor thing or something.
