Laugh Boston is cool but there's nowhere to smoke with Doug and guests after the show. I saw Trey Galyon and had a cone I really wanted to share but we were standing in front of the valet. At least he shared his oil pen

    TJ's special is phenomenal.

I'm not even a TJ Miller fan, but watched a good portion of his special (would have watched whole thing but for whatever reason my HBO kept freezing/blacking out). Thought it was pretty funny. The calling Derrick's mom and telling her to go fuck herself bit was great.

Oh, Hello was amazing. I just can't wrap my head around Mulaney. The character is great, his writing is great, but I absolutely cannot get through his stand-up. The delivery irks me so much.

His story about lying to the doctor for xanax is a classic in my book.

I wasn't into New in Town but I gave Comeback Kid a shot and I thought it was great. Then I went back to New in Town and loved it. I am dying to watch Oh, Hello!

  14. I was looking for some "new" comedy (relatively speaking) so I grabbed whatever I could from Kyle Kinane, Kurt Braunohler and Rory Scovel on Apple Music. Was stoked to hear Loose in Chicago was the same material we saw Kinane do in Buffalo a couple years back

"She spent years focusing on one kind of knowledge and mastered the human body. I spent years eating like a campground raccoon so I could come to her place of work, take of my skateboard shoe and show her my 'too-much-bacon' toe."

Watched oh hello over the weekend. I knew very little about it, and it was much weirder than I anticipated. I honestly wasn't into it the first 20 minutes or so, but I loved how it all came together at the end.

    Bringin the ruckus

Finally was able to watch Oh, Hello yesterday and loved every single second of it which considering I went to see it live three time in New York I'm not sure why I had my doubts about watching a recorded version. I loved that every single performance was different, not just the special guest, but how jokes would change or random moments where they'd break and make each other laugh. Wish I'd been able at one with a legendary guest like Steve Martin but the guests for my shows were all definitely different and entertaining so I can't really complain.

Loved both New In Town and The Comeback Kid to the point where I just leave them playing the background while I'm working so I'm really happy I was able to get my ticket to see him on the Kid Gorgeous tour when he comes to Florida in a few months.

John Mulaney may be my favorite comedian pound-for-pound.

I very much agree with this. The first twenty minutes seemed almost like a watered down, friendlier version of the characters but pretty much everything after they revealed the set was just golden.

I literally did forget about it haha. Ooopphhh. I remember Mulaney fans from the studio audience at the pilot taping saying it was so good, too.
