Don't Tell Me It's Over - I’m 100% ok with anthem part two winning but this song deserves a shot and, if I’m being honest, I like it more - but fuck this was a tough match up.

Every Time I Look For You - I have always had a weird relationship with PTMH. Never loved it. Good song, not great.

Story Of A Lonely Guy - just a strong ass song. Nuff said.

What Went Wrong - I bought an acoustic guitar because I wanted to play this song.

Anthem Pt. II - I think Don't Tell Me It's Over is my favorite bonus track but I love Anthem Pt. II. I was young when I heard it but I hadn't heard anything like the rapid, aggressive "DUN DUNA DUN" snares and distorted guitars immediately giving way to a clean, light riff before. The contrast blew my 10 year old mind away. Again it feels like proto-Box Car Racer/untitled blink in its loud/soft dynamics and political bent (admittedly very simplistic, surface level, kids against adults politics)

Everytime I Look For You - Despite "everytime" not being a word and how much I like "Please Take Me Home", "Everytime I Look For You" is one of my all-time favorite blink tracks. I love Mark's lyrics on it, the non-sequiturs and specific imagery feel like the first instance of the type of lyricism he'd really delve into on the +44 record, the bridge is perfect, Tom coming in for the pre-chorus to alternate with Mark is so great, it's perfect.

Story of a Lonely Guy - boy what a stinker matchup that one is. I like Story of a Lonely Guy fine but it's like, competent blink at best.

What Went Wrong - I hate to vote against First Date and Rock Show because I think sometimes blink's singles get underrated by some fans from being live staples and overplayed on the radio and I think both Rock Show and First Date (and All the Small Things) are really, really, really absurdly strong pop songs. Plus Rock Show's bridge at the Pepsi Smash is dope. But the bonus tracks on TOYPAJ are super strong. What Went Wrong has, what, a fucking clarinet on it? I'm not sure what the instrument during the bridge is but I like that they did a stripped down acoustic song with an off-the-wall instrument on there. Tom's not changing the world lyrically here but "I'm kicking out fiercely at the world around me" feels like a decent thesis for the thematics he's pursued lyrically his whole career

Anthem Part 2 - Fuck yeah. Just....Fuck yeah.

Every Time I look For You - HARD ONE....but I'm choosing this because its a dual vocal song and those are usually the best Blink songs, imo. Also bc I love American Pie 2 and this song starts the movie off......Bahnana na nana nana (My best take at the opening guitar riff)

Happy Holidays, You Bastard - Come on!!!! What a great joke song!!!! Its a classic!!!!....plus, Story of a Lonely Guy is my least favorite song on the album haha

What Went Wrong - What a song. i was OBSESSED with this when I first heard it. I like to think this was an early BCR song and the song that kickstarted Tom to make BCR a thing.
