seriously, do we have a better subreddit for Switch?

every time another game is announced on another platform there's a post explaining why it should be on the console

 

I'd recommend not visiting reddit

 

Unfortunately not lol. r/games has been surprisingly supportive of the Switch so far, and most stuff worth knowing makes it to their front page.

 

A well moderated subreddit is rare, but glorious.

With the Nintendo Spotlight today, there is a chance that Skyrim makes it's way into 3 conferences 6 years after it's release. I love the game, but llooll

 

Yeah it's kind of sad haha, I guess that's part of the delicining sales of AAA games that you keep milking games that blew up

 

I am really, really excited at the thought of getting weird and playing Skyrim in VR tho

 

I didn't like Skyrim when it came out, 6 years later and seeing it in press conferences is like torture.

 

Don't worry, next year when every conference mentions Skyrim coming to ESO as an expansion, it'll finally click and you'll be thrilled

 

Trying not to get too excited about Nintendo's.

 

I am way too excited. I don't even need a big IP or anything, just give me some great Nindies and I'll be elated.

 

My low key suspicion is we get a full fledged amiibo game announcement.

I'm beyond excited to see more of Odyssey in action. Like, I can't believe they're actually going back to the Super Mario 64/Sunshine-style of game. It's incredible that it's happening and I can't wait to play it.

Other than that I'm expecting nothing from this presentation. Odyssey is so much more than enough for me, though.

mario galaxy 1+2 are underrated

 

All the different worlds make me wonder if Mario Odyssey won't almost be a Nintendo Kingdom Hearts. Mario popping up in DK's Jungle or Hyrule would make me ded.

 

Haha Galaxy 2 is heralded as one of the best platformers of all time tho

The press about it is great, but for some reason no one in my real life seems to remember that it exists.

 

Are they? They were critically acclaimed and I don't know that I've ever heard anyone speak negatively of them. Plus Galaxy 2 was one of the most challenging games Nintendo has put out this century. Both great games.

 

Would also be totally cool with a Galaxy Collection for Switch pls Nintendo.
