This is more or less true for every great band. Haha

 

It's funny cause the only band I can think of that's consistently released top-five records is the National.

 

Exile In Guyville is better than Pablo Honey so there's at least one year where that's fair

 

Kid A would be my pick for best album from 2000.

 

95 (The Bends) had Mellon Collie & Only Built 4 Cuban Linx
97 (OK Computer) had Life After Death
00 (Kid A) had Stankonia, Supreme Clientele, Voodoo, Moon and Antartica
01 (Amnesiac) had The Blueprint
03 (HTTT) Right Now, You're in the Best of Hands. And If Something Isn't Quite Right, Your Doctor Will Know in a Hurry, The Black Album
07 (In Rainbows) had Graduation and Boxer, tho I actually might prefer In Rainbows to them
11 and 16 (TKOL/AMSP) had many albums better than them

 

I'd take those Radiohead albums over those other albums.

I was trying to do an album for every year I've been alive thing and I remember struggling with '07

I like Boxer, In Rainbows, and Graduation all a good amount but none of them jumped out at me in the same way

Random tangent but your Radiohead post just got me thinking about that and '07 music in general

Why do you have to quote with the album I never got into, there's so many good gems on Out of State Plates and now I'll never talk about them
