On first listen my impression is that I like the song and that this direction is exactly what I was hoping for. I like this band so much more when they're exploring their quieter side and/or experimenting with mood, instrumentation and song structures, and not going for bombastic, bludgeoning alt-rock tunes; I like ILAVLAC and Simple Math more than METN and Hope more than Cope. So I'm excited for this record.

 

I am intrigued by the Gold, but i'll probably stick with the standard. I really like the original art and the record matches perfectly

This is the one part of all this that intrigues me the most. Kinda excited about new music, kinda excited about pre-orders. REALLY wanna see what this video is all about.

Well I ordered The Gold bundle... not as many options as I was hoping for but hey I planned on getting the most expensive bundle. Shipping was rough!

 

Just looked in their notes on this release. No mention of Favorite Gentleman but it does mention Good Things Bad People publishing. anyone heard of it?

$40 shipped for just the vinyl is a bit ridiculous.

 

Just spent a lot of money on this band, and I'm sure I'll be spending more on tour dates. Worth it

new single is amazing. didn't really like cope mostly due to the production quality but so excited for this!

 

The track listing hurts my OCD. Every song starts with The ___ except for one?! Why not that one? Is it an interlude or not a full song?

Saw those prices and decided to go with the good old fashioned digital download.

 

Yeah, there are very few bands that I go physical for now. I have way to many CDs and band merchandise taking up our house space.

Is the non- bundle vinyl already gone ?

 

I wonder if the retail variant will be the same as what's shown on their website. Probably going to stick with Amazon anyhow. That would be nice if you could just order the gold vinyl with the photo book instead of having to get the shirt and other stuff. Also, that COPE box set has been readily available since it was released. I'm assuming this bundle probably will, too. I'm guessing that's why there aren't pressing numbers.
