Is the files app only on iPad? Really should be on everything that can upgrade to iOS 11, but Apple likes to do arbitrary stuff like that all the time. That being said I love my Air 2, but the 10.5 Pro looks amazing.

 

the person to person Apple Pay (through iMessage) is what I'm most excited about.

 

I love files / it's finder for iOS

Ugh I want that iMac Pro so bad, even though I have zero use case for it.

Already planning spending all my disposable income on the new iPad Pro 10.5", HomePod, and could maybe be tempted to upgrade my MacBook 12" to a MacBook Pro given the new iPad Pro will probably be able to do most things my MacBook does. Damn you, Apple haha.

Very smart what they've done with the HomePod marketing it as a high-quality speaker first, assistant second - I have limited use for an assistant device as my home is not wired for it, but definitely keen on a good, small, aesthetically pleasing speaker that can sync with my Apple Music and have the added benefit of being able to do other stuff down the track.

 

iOS 11 makes me want to go back to the iPad for my main computer. Multitasking looks so nice.

 

i need help, every time i go to the browse tab or search for anything on apple music on the desktop app the screen stays white. i can access my library and the itunes store but anything within apple music itself brings up a blank white page

 

Tried the usual: Closing iTunes, checking for updates, rebooting?

 

120hz display on the new iPad is pretty nutty.

I remember going from a 60hz monitor to 144hz and it was life-changing.

 

I was initially underwhelmed by yesterdays announcements (thought hardware was cool but I was a little meh on software), but I've come around now that I've gone through things properly. Excited to see what developers can do with Apple Music with iOS 11, deeper social integration/more reliable scrobbling apps would be cool.

The iPad multi tasking and file systems are incredibly cool as well, after the iPad went without much love last year. Heck, my MacBook may become a Plex server for the most part! Also love a customisable control centre! I might even be able to use Siri for more than timers now, hopefully.

New Homepods are cool - can't see me justifying buying them with a Wedding in less than a year though, ha! Also the iMacs are stunning.. never, ever, ever going to be able to afford one though.. doh.

 

Very excited to hear the HomePod in action. Never thought I'd get one of those "always listening" speakers, but this one is sounding really appealing.

 

I honestly might get rid of my laptop and just get an ipad

Does anyone have issues with random songs constantly needing to be deleted and re-downloaded in Apple Music? The new Paramore and Tigers Jaw records each have a song that constantly goes grey.
