I can agree with this one.

 

I don't like the 1975. I don't have a huge articulate reason lol I just haven't liked the songs I've heard.

I also don't have any cool bragging rights shows cause I don't go to too many of them.

I haven't listened to Car Seat Headrest because I'm behind on everything

 

$30 says its because of that gif where the singer tells the interviewer she's too pretty for him to pay attention to her questions. we both hate him for that lol

tbh CSH is too... sound is kind of played out. but now i sound like im being mean, you know, he can make the music he wants haha

I mean that was my introduction to them so I guess it wasn't a good start haha. Tbh I tend not to like the way he comes off in interviews in general. But I did listen to a few songs hoping to like them since my boys in 1d love them and ripped them off lol, and I just didn't care for them. And the copycat 1d song is also one of my least fave songs of theirs so idk haha

I don't have a lot of big band/small venue shows to brag about but my favorites were TWY on the 24 hour tour at the First Unitarian Church in Philly, My Chemical Romance's last set pre-break up at Bamboozle, and the Menzingers secret Home For The Holidays show at Asbury Lanes in 2012(?)

 

I saw Bayside at a random outdoor UConn show, just a stage on the lawn outside the dorms with a ton of random bands and Bayside headlining. There were maybe 100-200 people there and it was the first time they played Killing Time songs.

Nobody probably even cares about this, but the best Kaki King concert I've been to, hosted Mike Einziger from Incubus, and it wasn't announced at all, he just was in town, showed up, and two of the best guitarists of the 2000s just had a 10 minute improv session. And then he played second guitar on a few more songs.

I met both and, as a pretty outgoing person who isn't afraid to put myself out there, that's the only time I can remember being so starstruck that dumb awkward words just fell out of my mouth.

I saw Terrain build half their album.

 

Loveless has never clicked even though I've given it many chances through the years. A few stand outs, still pretty good, I've just never viewed it as anything mind blowing

 

Nobody here really cares, but I love the original version of Despacito so much more than the remix. I like the remix too, but Bieber's Spanish is so mangled I can't. The original version was just fine tho. And after seeing him mock the song live like byyye kick him off of it pls.

Only brag I have is seeing Pinegrove in a idk exactly what cap but small anarchist vegan library diner venue after they blew up. If Brand New never play the Netherlands again I also saw their last Dutch show but I hope that won't be a thing

I saw Pianos Become the Teeth play The Lack Long After front to back with Tigers Jaw and Balance and Composure - don't really have much other than that in the brags category.

 

is it unpopular to say Pet Sounds is the only worthwhile Beach Boys album? Because if so then thats my unpopular opinion for today

 

Surf music desperately needs a comeback.
There needs to be more bands like Yellowcard but you know, that are actually good.
