Talk to the guy sitting in the second from the left (if you're facing the five thrones from the front.

Transposition is what they call turning boss souls into items.

I'm an idiot, and figured it out as soon as I started talking to him. Thanks anyway though:)

So is there a glitch where I'll invade people without using a cracked red eye orb? I've been running around Farron Keep, and then I'll start to invade someone....

Holy shit, fuck late game optional area boss: Nameless King. At least the run to the boss is super quick.

Yeah I was in the watchdogs covenant at the time, and had their banner equipped. I figured it was that, and instead equipped the sun covenant banner. Though it was just weird since why would the game stop what I'm doing, and send me somewhere. It's never done that for any other souls game I've played.

It's the equivalent of Dark Souls 1 Forest Hunter covenant or Darkmoon, when you have the covenant equipped you'll be summoned to protect a specific area. There's a couple in this game. Instead of wearing the ring, you equip the covenant.

Oooooh ok yeah that makes sense. I kept getting summoned to places in the Farron keep/Road of Sacrifices.

I want to build a character that looks like Tom Hardy in Bronson and just run around shirtless punching enemies. Idk how to spec that, and the first fist weapon isn't until after 2 bosses so this will require some patience.

Does anybody know with any certainty what effects being hollow has on gameplay, besides the cosmetic changes? I want to remain hollow for the whole game so I can get the cool ending, but I want to know if I'm being penalized in some way. I've heard in some places that when hollow, every death permanently decreases max HP. I've also heard that being hollow decreases the amount of health recovered when using estus flasks. I've even heard that it increases your luck. I thought it'd be easier to find the answer to this question, but it seems every site or wiki says something different.

Every thing I've seen said it's purely cosmetic. I'm not sure though.

Beat two more bosses (the option one was a huge pain in the ass but it felt so good to finally get it down), think I'm on the final one now.

If you're too hollow you might have trouble doing co-op. I was trying to play with a friend and his summon wouldn't show up and as soon as I reversed hollowing it worked.

Don't cure the dark sigil. That's what will fuck up the good ending. You can buy a stone item from Yura that resets hollowing to zero but hollowing will go back up as you die.

Loving all the titanite drops in the Catacombs area.

This game makes me even more pissed about Dark Souls 2. This is the real sequel. Dark Souls 2 is officially fanfiction in my mind at this point.

I think I'm in the final area, but gona put it off till tomorrow. Enemy magic is way too over powered and constantly being sniped from a distance with devastating spells is the worst though

I'm playing through that area right now, and getting my ass kicked. Though yeah farming in there for titanite shards is great.

I beat the game earlier and all I can think about since is how much I wish I had more of it. I'll NG+ sooner rather than later as I patiently wait for the DLC.

There is still a lot of relevant DS2 lore in DS3. its not like it is completely ignored or irrelevant to the series as a whole

beat the game in 35~ hours or so including all the optional bosses. fucked up most of the NPC quest lines though so I'm attempting to play them out in NG+ now. just took out the abyss watchers. unfortunately if you use your upgraded weapons (i have +10 spider shield and +10 dark sword) the bosses are all extremely easy in NG+ (so far). ive 1-shot them all :\

I usually dive into new Souls games right away. Not I have to wait a few weeks because I don't have access to my Xbox. Feels very weird.

Got to boss #3 last night and failed twice before I had to head out. Lack of patience it making me make this fight more difficult than it has to be. However I love that midway through the fight when it collapses you both through the floor you end up in the area where you take on the Mound Makers covenant. Thought that was neat

Ohhhh ok that makes sense. Thanks for the help! It's one of my greatest fears that I'll do something irreversible in a SoulsBorne game and miss out on something haha
