Same here except they still decided to end on a joke song... Still protesting that decision on both albums.

Just finally getting to spin this and I'm digging it so far. Not a huge fan of the songs they released ahead of time but I think within the flow of the deluxe portion of the album they work better. I like Last Train Home on first listen. Hey, I'm sorry sounds slightly slower than the previous Bonus Track version but maybe I'm just crazy or my record player is slow.

I'm pretty sure Hey I'm Sorry is identical to the version originally released last year. Can anyone pinpoint any specific differences?

Just played them over each other and I think you're right. I think my record player might be slightly offspeed and that was causing it to sound different to me.

I listened to both 'versions' back to back and didn't notice a difference at all.

If I were to make a 12 track California album mine would be (in no particular order):

    Cynical
    Bored to Death

    Sober
    No Future
Home Is Such A Lonely Place
    Left Alone
    San Diego
    Misery
    Good Old Days
    Hey I'm Sorry
    Long Lost Feeling

    Just missed the list were:

Haha. I don't think it sounds like it at all I was just listening to it and it popped into my head like a mash up because the syllables almost fit!

I have no urge to listen to this again & i really liked the OG California

  14. i think i'm really going to just stick with the 14 song tracklist i came up with, and that will keep me perfectly happy until the next album comes out. and if it's California part 2, then I'll have to make a NEW tracklist where it incorporates songs from everyyyything.... haha

Yeah I have no desire to listen to any of the California songs except for the ones on my playlist. Even those I'm not super drawn to though. I still think Cynical is the best thing that's come from this era.

  16. Cynical, Bored To Death, She's Out Of Her Mind, and San Diego. All classic Blink songs.

Off topic, but do you know which song on Collapsible Lung was written with AM? I know Amy I off People and Things was a collab, but didn't realize CL had a cowrite with AM as well

SOOHM is one of the lackluster songs on California imo

Matt Skiba singing about "going back to San Diego" is one of the most disingenuous things I've ever heard.

Cynical, Left Alone and Bored to Death are probably the only three songs off of this that I see being in the upper half of blink's discography. I wouldn't call any "classics"

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

Yeah, I left it off my 15 song list and it wasn't really close. Good Old Days does more for me than that song does, as far as being crazy catchy. Mind is fun, I just don't love it.

I love Good Old Days. Listening to it honestly makes me sad right now considering my current heartbreaking situation. :tear: But this is the thing I love about Blink.

It was written so that it doesn't seem odd having Tom sing about Chicago in a few years.
