let's appreciate the GOAT songs

 

I'm so excited for her to go in a more country direction. I've been a huge Miley stan since like 2006 lol but for the last few years her music/antics/social politics have been rough. Hoping this turns things around.

 

I was so very much into what she did with Mike Will on Bangerz.

 

I'm glad she's being talked about somewhere. Bangerz is one of my favorite pop albums, and I love what she did with Dead Petz, but the whole batshit crazy thing would've gotten old if she kept doing it. I always thought Maybe You're Right was one of the best Bangerz songs, and it sounds like this album may at least partially go in that direction. I'm sure I'll love it regardless, because everything she does always feels so genuine to me and she's one of those artists that seems to (at least based on the last two) releases the right album at the right time for me. This is one of my most anticipated of the year.

 

Adore You is very good

 

loved Bangerz but so excited to see where she's going with this. similar to how I anticipated Gaga's "Joanne". Was a little let down by that one but, I have a feeling this will be great.

Her recent quotes are bad, but I'm interested in hearing the new track. I actually enjoyed a fair amount of Dead Petz

 

Agreed, the Billboard interview was cringeworthy, which is disheartening, but I'm holding out hope for a good record. I love everything pre-Dead Petz, but always especially enjoyed her country/twang-y leaning stuff more, so her going in that direction excites me.

She's dumb af but Can't Be Tamed is one of my favorite albums so I have a soft spot for her music. Miley's music >>>>> Hannah's

I didn't like Bangerz tho

 

Almost every word of that article/interview gave me secondhand embarrassment. That said, I don't doubt this'll be the best music she's made, simply BECAUSE it's her returning to her lane as an adult.

 

Chill tune. I dig it.

 

This is a perfect breezy summer day song. Really really enjoy this.

 

Somehow I both think this song sucks and think it's great.

tbh i find her lacking anything that seems genuine now

 

I can see why people would think that. I kind of agree, but I think she's trying to pull herself back down to reality. I really hope she can flourish as an adult in the industry. It seemed like she became some weird social experiment for a while there.

 

At least she looks amazing
