    If only that were always the case. Y'know when I went to see Georgia Maq perform at a bar/record store and ended up snagging Sainthood for $80? I neglected to mention that I went back in and got Full Collapse for $25 (with a scratch on it but still). That was a very expensive trip and I only walked away with two things. Oh, plus the whole seeing Georgia part.

    I do think it's worth seeing, if only for the performances. I wasn't raised religious, though, so I felt like this didn't have as universal an appeal as Immaculate and First Omen. ymmv I guess

    Did another UO clearance bin blind buy and got the new Faye Webster for $12, will report back Looking through the Target b2g1 sale I really want After Laughter and AWKIF, maybe BNE as well. Not a huge fan of S/T (not to mention it's $30 while the rest are $22) but it would be weird to have all of Hayley except for one. I'm waiting to see if Target Circle does a bonus offer like spend $60 three times get $10, which isn't a lot now that I think about it

    Ahh I thought there were more bosses after this one! I guess I beat Sundered. I'll have to look up the "good" and "bad" endings tho bc I fucked up and did a "neutral" run edit: so i watched the endings and... but yeah, this game is dark! the enemy and boss designs are horrific. i kinda didn't expect this from the people who made Spiritfarer. (welllll, that game had some sad storylines too but all the characters were cute animals sooo) this one's a bit less story driven than some other metroidvanias but that's okay! the procedurally generated map keeps things interesting, it's like a MV with rogue elements (while Dead Cells is the other way around). while the game can get frustrating at times, the combat and traversal are pretty satisfying, and after a bit of farming, upgrading the skill tree feels rewarding.
