The wax mage variants are always more expensive because they’re the Instagram hipsters dream. Always very limited. They do some interesting stuff and clearly take a lot of care but I feel people have become obsessive with the idea.

they are always called wax mage? i am not familiar with this trend, that's the first time i saw price difference on the same record from 30 bucks to 80 bucks, that's insane, i would never buy a record for 80 dollars.

I genuinely love that dopey song as its video was a big part of my youth and my band in high school covered it. I’m kinda surprised to hear it was meant to be a parody when LTI is very bro-y and misogynistic in an Andrew Dice Clay of-the-times kind of way. Nothing else in their catalog comes across as juvenile, so it’s a good thing they quickly moved on from it with PB and beyond.

it reminded me of the avicii documentary, like it's hard to stop the success train once it starts rolling while also handling personal friendships and relationships along the way, when money gets involved and a lot of it, it definitely can complicate things. i mean deryck even admitted to hating stevo on initially meeting him but then eventually they became inseparable so there's that underlying feeling of dislike from the the beginning towards him.

I’m expecting older stuff that’s been sitting like Baggage or Nominee, but I’d be happy with WATIC or LTJ. I don’t have most of their exclusive releases and at $5 a record and $6 shipping, I’d be thrilled if I enjoy 1-2 of the 10. fingers crossed for a test press.
