I actually did google “shit yourself on mushrooms” and “poop yourself on mushrooms” and I know that’s really shitty research but it didn’t even pull up a Reddit thread lol. Most I got was like, being poisoned by actual forest mushrooms not hydroponically grown psilocybin ones, and a bunch of stuff on the benefits of mushrooms, and a few about how they make you poop but nothing about pooping yourself in public. I’ve probably known hundreds of people who take psychedelics and I’ve personally never heard of that before, worst I’ve heard is some people just throw up instead of pooping and I wouldn’t take mushrooms if that was the case for me tbh

Ebert hated Blue Velvet too. Fire Walk With Me was considered a huge disaster for many years. Now pretty much everyone has come around. Even something as artistically compromised as his Dune movie can be appreciated for some of the offbeat choices he made.

It’s wild to me that Twin Peaks aired on ABC. I watched it on Netflix dvds (back when Netflix was all mail) and didn’t even think about where it originally aired. It’s a show that’s still hard to compare to any other show I can’t imagine having it line up with network television lol I didn’t rewatch it before the Return, might be a good time for a full run through
