I’m playing Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, the remake of the GCN/PS2 game that I adored as a kid. You can tell from the graphics and stuff like that that, relatively, their budgets aren’t what they used to be, but the magic is still there, with some nice QoL improvements. Hell of a game.

People upset that Nintendo isn't releasing a console where you control the gameplay with one of those dials that makes barnyard animal noises.

It’s also a piano reference sometimes. There’s a (Hip Hop) producer called 88-Keys and I’m pretty sure in his case it’s a reference to the piano.

Also the DS touchscreens are different from a lot of modern touchscreens and it doesn’t quite work for touchscreen-heavy games

This is exactly the agony of DS/3DS emulation. It’s why the original hardware is so expensive.

I don’t think that’ll happen, they have never done that before, even with DS and 3DS. There might be a few stragglers that still come to Switch, but it’ll be over quick.

I don’t think the US national anthem is washed at all. I’m anti war and think that the lyrics are a bit much, but it’s pretty interesting to me musically. Especially compared to a lot of the other national anthems I’ve heard (mainly watching the Olympics lol). The best national anthem is Finland’s though.

I for one cannot wait for the Switch 2 is a failure takes because people disregard that there isn’t a global pandemic that pushes it towards becoming the best selling console of all time for a the second time in a row

I think it will depend on how well the Switch 2 will be doing tbh. Nintendo actually really only rocks the boat when things feel like they aren’t working anymore. The Wii was a result of the GCN not competing, the DS was a result of the GBA not coming close to being the Game Boy etc.

I heard that they will be able to be paired separately to be used as extra controllers but they can not be attached to the console

If the Switch 2 does really well there will be a Switch 3, only maybe it’ll have a different name (but Sony has kinda demonstrated that the most boring way works best, whereas Nintendo and Microsoft have recently stumbled because of naming conventions)

Does it have to make the initial case though? It’s Nintendo, people are going to take notice in April when they reveal everything with the price and release date. It’s not about a new gimmick this time. It’s about making a sequel console as the same step up that Xbox and PS do each generation. Why fuck with a masterpiece design when you can just make a direct successor? Would Prime 4 really show me what the console could really do in 20 seconds of clips? This is just them saying “hey yeah it exists, you can stop now. See you in April for the full thing.” They wouldn’t shadow drop a teaser on YouTube if this announcement was their linchpin for proving their upgrade case.

    1) It’s Nintendo, they’re gonna have a stellar lineup I think 2) Uh, the Switch Oled doesn’t run a whole library of games that the OG Switch doesn’t run?

From what I understand it's more of a label/curated album where 88rising as a label curated the artists and producers for the album

I’m not saying Drake is not a joke, but this lawsuit is actually quite interesting and maybe valid, and Drake is one of a few artists that are big enough to give this a real try. I think a lot of people are misinterpreting it. Industry rule 4080, record company people are shady.

I don’t think the allegations against Kendrick are “in a vacuum”. He’s defended abusers and allowed them to guest feature in his music for his entire career, and then there’s that video from 2015 where the radio host brings up allegations of him committing violence against women and he denies them but it isn’t all that convincing. My hot take is that Drake and Kendrick are probably both terrible people [MEDIA]
