that’s fair I’m just more so commenting on how ironic it is that this is one of many examples of soul food that has been in black family recipes for generations, to the point that it’s a common holiday joke that white folks don’t know how to make Mac & cheese much like it’s a joke that they often clap on 1 & 3 to music and miss the whole groove. But the minute a famous white person does something similar and does it justice (see: Jimmy Page playing BB King riffs but with way more distortion) NOW it’s viral hahah much less about her (i am sure she’s very skilled) and much more about the irony of how things that have been around forever suddenly go viral in more mainstream cultural context
