the ending of 11/22/63 is phenomenal, thank Joe Hill for that one I'm up to Wizard and Glass again on my second trip to the Tower, this really might be my favourite book he's ever written

I have finished 11/22/63. It could be recency bias, but I am not afraid to say this might go down as arguably my favorite of all time. What an absolute joy to read and an ending that puts the "he can't write a good ending" to shame. I stupidly watched the show way back when and have purposely waited to read this one, but it was so, so, so worth it.

[MEDIA] Being at this tour and seeing the cage come down over the band I had no ideas what was about to happen. No one had ever done anything like that before. The hanging lights were such a cool touch…being a tab and a half of acid deep during this show was truly an experience. [MEDIA] Loved that they later revisited this staging idea on the Tension tour…this is my all time fav live version of NIN. The 2 female background singers really added something that was never there before.

Setlists aside the visuals of the Light Up the Sky Tour have it still atop my greatest concert of all time ranking

It’s pretty good if you’re into HIM. The fact that Ville wrote and produced the album shows how he was basically the brainchild behind a lot of HIM’s music. IIRC, he wrote Venus Doom by himself while in the Rocky Mountains.

I honestly didn't know he had a solo album out until today when the song Neon Noir came on in the car and damn, did it hit. Will be checking out the album tomorrow.

[MEDIA] Saw them on the Lights in the Sky Tour, which remains the best show I've ever been to, and then the Tension tour. If you get the chance to get tickets, just do it.

Man, I saw them open with Somewhat Damaged at a super small last minute show in NYC like 8 years ago and I thought the floor was going to cave in when they started to play it.

I was at this one too and it was incredible. Somewhat Damage as an opener was a bucket list thing for me
