You know who's weirder the ones who SKIP all cutscenes in story heavy games. Like even if there's a 15 minute cutscene they'll say ewww too long......and I'm like......the story is the focal point of the game and you can't be bothered to even pay attention? Lol. We all owned PS2s! All of us!

I don't know what's funnier, you not being story-driven so you exclusively play arguably the most story-driven genre, or the fact that you just backhanded the entire genre with that "not out here playing amazing stories" comment.

Yeah, I feel like that's the wrong word for it. It's the era of "free speech" where people confuse being an asshole for confidence.

Honestly, the story is 99% why I play games. Obviously gameplay is important too, but story really matters. Alan Wake, The Last of Us, Resident Evil, and Honkai are some of my favorite games ever for the lore and characters.

Nothing will happen to him for the same reason nothing happens to any of the bigoted scumbags that run our country. Because we're fucked.

I know that people who don't play RPGs for the stories exist, but you might be the first I've encountered in the wild. What is life like for you?

I don't know who that is, but I trust that it'll be a good time and I hope this works out for them. I'd love to see Snot become a thing again after their career was cut so brutally short.

Yeah but this is the U.S.'s chance to prove they can still be cool. If they fail the test, they fail the test.

it was mentioned before and here’s my hot take on this one: miniLED can get dark enough and way brighter than OLEDs without need for cooling(!). Plus they’re much cheaper which leaves more room in the budget for performance/ram/storage. for a portable console that is the sensible choice in this day and age.

I’m playing Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life, the remake of the GCN/PS2 game that I adored as a kid. You can tell from the graphics and stuff like that that, relatively, their budgets aren’t what they used to be, but the magic is still there, with some nice QoL improvements. Hell of a game.

People upset that Nintendo isn't releasing a console where you control the gameplay with one of those dials that makes barnyard animal noises.

Ok, so I’ve watched 5 eps of My Dress-Up Darling and I’m a fan so far. I was getting Rent-a-Girlfriend vibes at first with the main character around the opposite sex but thankfully he isn’t as bad. Gojo, my man, all that playing with Hina dolls is about to pay off!
