hearing other band stories sounds like it usually is a lot of building and escalating and then the thing that just makes everything implode. I’d assume a similar situation here.

There’s moral and principal dilemmas here for sure but it’s all related to a tour that it seems some people are down to do while others are not. I get the issue at hand and I’m not trying to discuss one side or another - I’m just hoping that Connie and her sibling could find a way to figure out a path forward instead of imploding over this. Especially given how far they’ve come.. Hopefully, the band drops off the tour and SYSC works it out.

Just seems like such a waste to leave a band you started with your sibling over disagreements about a tour.. obviously there may be other things at play here but I really hope Connie and SYSC can figure things out in time.

What are the odds that the band is changing their name to Locus Ultra? I would never imagine them giving up a name as recognized as Underoath and I do recognize that it says Underoath on the cover but it’s the only thing that makes sense to me right now? I’m so confused lol Anyways; cool cover - hope the record is actually great.

Would be a massive bummer if Connie left SYSC due to disagreements about touring with DGD. I hope she can get things sorted with the band/management. In the meantime I’m gonna blast Coup de Grâce - that record took a while to grow on me but now I absolutely love it!

Love me some FATA. I would agree that each album got a little better. Still remember going to the Abandon Your Friends record release show. Saw they have been doing reunion shows, but wasnt worth the 2 hour treck for me. I will say that Fran's side project from like 2005 "Biology" is my favorite thing he ever did. Such a great record. Mellow, but amazing. If you like Kansas City 90210, then you would dig it. Got to see Biology open for Say Anything 2 decades ago. They played, I saw the 20 minute set, and left.

i didnt get to talk to them but fran signed my buddys cd "2000-2025" and uhhh hopefully that doesnt mean what im worried it might absolutely insane show though, fran sounds unhinged as ever

i return once again for i am on my way to see these guys in long island and am beyond stoked, as well as very curious how all the old songs are gonna translate with fran doing all the vocals. should be a really special night also found the interview where they talked about the new stuff. sounds like when they were supposed to rehearse for shows but got blocked by lockdown they used that time to kick around like 3 songs which have been in development over the last few years. really hope we get to hear those one day
