Anyone else feel like we’re losing good amphitheater summer tours next year? All I keep hearing is “arena this” & “stadium that”. I’m just a chill guy and the music industry is trying to prevent me from paying $50 for a lawn ticket and then sneak into the pit at my local amphitheater

It’s just the prices. Like if it was 30-50 bucks for cheap seats to an arena show like it used to be? It would be a no brainer but if you want to go see like any other show during the year and you probably gotta pay for dinner, sitter, parking, drinks, etc. Like it’s a lot to ask of people

I don’t feel bad for these bands when those are the prices being charged…I could see some of these dates being cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances”

'Standard ticket' prices for Field Level (pretty far back after the grass/field area starting at $248.50 proooobably doesn't help. ouch

I do agree with some of the points made....I'm not a big fan of album play tours either, i'd much rather be surprised by the setlist....to me it comes off as a money grab and an unworthy one at that...besides for bands like Green Day and Weezer they play nearly all of their seminal albums at every show anyway...and let's not even account for Taking Back Sunday who has done TAYF for how many anniversaries now?
