I've heard it called an Armando Palmero before, but half jamaica half lemonade is so damn good.

My grandma's go to cookie she always had was the Keebler Fudge sandwiches. The ones that are Keebler Elf shaped.

I made mini pumpkin Bundt cakes with a homemade PSL cream cheese frosting as one of my desserts. The frosting piper was screwing up, so they look messy, but damn they came out good

I told my parents I wanted a cast iron skillet for Christmas, and they were like "wait we can do that right now", and went and pulled out like a 100 year old antique cast iron they bought at an estate sale they never used.

Making a cranberry orange quick bread for tomorrow. I did not follow the recipe so we'll see how this turns out. My way made more sense and I browned the butter and used a vanilla pod I had in the cupboard.

They just opened a new one in our neighborhood and it has a drive thru pick up. I've gotten it more times in the last two months than the previous 3 years combined.

I think Daniel ordered the quesadilla for suckers which is the same as a regular quesadilla just $7 more.

I would be fine with the price if it were as filling as a burrito. I expected double the amount of food. You ever get disappointed when you get handed your food because you know the bag isn't heavy enough?

Got a quesadilla from Chipotle for the first time and it was almost $19 (after a $2 tip) for two small pieces. It was tasty, but I'm pissed at the size.

After absolutely loving The Long Walk, it's taken me a little while to get fully into Needful Things, but it's cooking now and I really want to finish it over this long weekend. But damn, The Long Walk makes you physically tired reading it.

Remember a few years ago when I hung out with Tom Green at a bar and took him to a pizza place and kept him out so late that he slept through his radio interview the next morning?

My 6 month old “nephew” sent me an early Christmas gift that I got two days before Thanksgiving. It’s his first holiday season, so I’m cutting him a break on how early it is. Lol

I was thinking about making a real authentic Sunday Gravy to the tee (I have made it a bit, but never with the proper Italian ingredients) and goddamn San Marzano Tomatoes are so expensive now. They're like $35 for 6 cans.

Claude got neutered on Wednesday. His recovery has been amazing so far - eating as much as always and also full of energy, which has been tricky because he’s not supposed to be running around or jumping. We kept him mostly confined to his pen on Thursday but let him have access to most of the apartment again yesterday; of course, we let him out of sight for a minute yesterday and he instantly jumps up onto the chair he never gets on, lol. We call the pillow behind the “the mother” because it looks so much like him.

Lady sitting next to me in Wicked was on her phone playing games half the movie. In my experience it's not even kids that don't know any better, it's always like an 60 year old adult. But yeah, it feels like we've lost the battle, especially now that most theaters have huge recliners, people feel more and more that it's their living room. Anyway, my hot take is that this movie is actually a pretty damn good action thriller with some really fun set pieces, a great main cast, and a ton of awesome character actors supporting.
