I now have a win with each type in Dead Cells and Survival is my least favorite. The large health bar is nice and all but the weapons are too slow for my taste. Fortunately, I had an OP Mushroom Boi! that ended up being a hard carry. Brutality is still my favorite but I had a lot of fun with the quick bow and barbed tips combo for Tactics. Time to check out the remaining biomes and then bump things up a notch.

Got my first win in Dead Cells after my third attempt at Hand of The King. Followed it up with another win right after which means it’s probably time to step up the difficulty or at least try a more challenging path. At the moment, I prefer Brutality builds especially ones spec’d around bleed.

Gameplay for AW1…isn’t great. But 2 is in my top five of all time. As a big Twin Peaks fan, I thought the story and presentation were incredible.

Yeah by that point in the run its not smart to fight every enemy, pick your battles and prioritize dodging through fights to progress.

Made it to High Peak Castle for the first time this morning but got whooped by some Dark Tracker elites. Those little shits give you no time to heal.

AW1 is definitely clunky. AW2 is incredible and I’d agree that easy mode is the way to go since the combat is the least interesting part.

One of the best things about going to the movies for me is that it’s an excuse not to talk to anyone and ignore my phone for 2+ hours.

Dead Cells is fantastic and their love for other indie games really shines through with all of the little easter eggs. I've been meaning to try out the Castlevania DLC they did but I know when I do I'll end up playing it for like a month straight lol

Picked up Dead Cells again and it's really clicked this time around, to the point where I'm not sure why I wasn't feeling it on previous attempts. Feels good to have another rogue to sink my teeth into but rip my back catalog.
