Biggest release day for me in a while. ALLB and ATDI are two of my most anticipated for 2017.

For curiosity's sake, I want to check out Perfume Genius, Motionless in White, and Mac Demarco

The only albums I can imagine myself actually purchasing are Stapleton and A Lot Like Birds

 

I'm liking the new Sigrid EP.

 

I don't know why I thought Motionless in White might finally be tolerable.

Heard a few necrophilia references and immediately bounced out.

This is one of those days where I didn't see a lot I was excited about and found a few really great albums based on recs here. Thanks guys and gals! This community is the best.

 

Why am I not surprised? Haha it seems like they're a diet version of Manson.

ATDI was really good, lived up to expectations.

ALLB is going to be a grower for me. So has all their stuff, not that this record is anything like the others.

 

I highly recommend the new Grayscale album 'Adornment'. Some really fun stuff on there.

 

The new swordfish album is so good kinda eminds me in places of prawn, American football and sorority noise. They are on take this to heart records which is full of awesome releases

...I usually limit myself to 5 new releases a week but this week reallllllly puts that to the test

Don't limit yourself! What I normally do is see what everyone is listening to and hear a song from each album. If I like it, I listen to the whole album. If I don't, I just wasted 4 minutes compared to 30+.

 

the debut album from Clean Cut Kid is out today, well worth it

 

ATDI - Interalia explodes out of the gate from the get go, and never gives the listener a chance to tune out...highly recommended! Also, Cedric's delivery reminds me a lot of Gerard Way on this record. Anyone else feeling some MCR moments on this?
