This is screwing with the current system though as insurers don't know how to react to uncertainty, so if oyu are in the individual market, relying on subsidies, and are over 26 years of age and/or not on your parents insurance, be careful.

 

Ok....so I have this group chat with 3 girl friends who live in diff states, one of them "doesn't care about politics" and hops out of the chat when we start getting into shit, which is fairly often bc one of the girls is an editor at The Atlantic. She just asked what pre-existing conditions are and we just had to casually explain the atrocity of what just happened and she is just like "omg" and "wtf" and "that's insane."

She's in WV and didn't vote.

Sorry had to vent I'm so mad at her right now.

I feel like the dems singing at the reps actually celebrating the first step to removing millions of people from health care access, is the only move they have right now. Also don't think it passes the senate any time soon. and if this does fail in the senate (like I think it will) the dems will have this to use against them in a year and a half.
