Got my second 6 Star medal today (Goofy and Auron) and maxed them both out to level 100. 6 Stars are strong but damn they cost so much so I can really only use two at a time along with three 5* ones.

Throw me into the OP guys! My PSN is iSeeKyle. I appreciate it! Add me for future multiplayer games! I'm stoked on DOOM. Bethesda just does no wrong for me. I am really curious on No Man's Sky, though. I feel like it could be a really interesting game, but I fear it's a game that I will play a couple times and just not want to play anymore after that. I am scared to commit a ton of money into it, lol.

I am on the opposite side and thought it was a blast! I like how there is a chance to play as a reaper and wreck the other team. Definitely going to preorder it!

Was just watching some videos, it looks it.

I was mainly going to buy it for some sort of campaign experience bit I'll wait for a drastic price drop.

I think that is the point. Either way, that is what a BETA is for, to see how those things fan out and fix them (hopefully).

Should I play previous Dark Souls games before I buy the 3rd one?

Not really no. It makes sense to play them in order but they are not REALLY connected.

Bought Enter The Gungeon. Hated it. Refunded it. Not my thing at all. Kinda fun but the whole perma death thing doesn't appeal to me and neither does health not regenerating when you clear a floor. I sensed it'd cause me too much frustration so it's gone.

  14. I think Dark Souls 1 or Bloodborne are probably the best introductions to the series. This one has a relatively difficult boss that prevents you from leveling up or progressing until you beat him. DS1 has perfect pacing and it's essentially a masterpiece of a game.

That said, you don't really need it.

Which one? I think this is easily the most accessible of the series where it's very clear where you have to go at the start and what your objectives are and the difficulty starts off pretty easy and then just gradually increases whereas Dark Souls 1 and Bloodborne both start out pretty difficult.

I'd probably recommend people start out with Bloodborne if they want any of them just because it's my favourite but out of the Dark Souls games I'd recommend this one. I think I'd still say DS1 is better but I think especially at this point in time when everyone else is playing it that DS3 is a better game for newcomers.

It's a classic and one of the best JRPGs ever made. I'm jealous you get to experience it for the first time, enjoy.

Only games I remember from PSone days are Croc, Lucky Luke, Frogger, and A Bug's Life

  18. That's fair, this one definitely is accessible. Just don't start with DS2 haha.

That's the first one I played all the way through, haha. I started with Dark Souls 1 but got stuck on the Gaping Dragon and then came back to it after DS2.

DS2 really annoyed me because the game encourages you to die in order to learn attack patterns of bosses etc but then punishes you for dying by shortening your health bar.

Not a huge souls fan anyway but might give 3 a go.

Do you still have a PsOne? I've got some game recommendations if so.

  25. Yeah the hollowing mechanic in DS2 basically ruined the game for me.
